Scottish Book Trust and BBC Scotland are asking you to write about your favourite place in Scotland.
From the Scottish Book Trust website
Write a story, poem, song, letter, diary entry or sketch about the place in Scotland you love most and it could be published in a book or broadcast on BBC Radio Scotland!
The title of the story should contain the name of the place, or the name that you know it by, perhaps a nickname the place has.
There is an upper limit of 1000 words for all entries.
You also have the option to upload a photo of the place, if you like. Please only upload a photo that you have the right to use, for example one you have taken yourself or a rights-free photo.
The closing date for entries is 31 August 2012.
Lots of people have already left their work on the website, including a poem from Liz Lochhead, so go have a look.
