Antony Gormley: 6 Times

Image © J Macfadyen

Antony Gormley has created a new sculpture for Edinburgh. There’s six full size figures situated between the Gallery of Modern Art in Edinburgh, standing in the Water of Leith and looking out to the North Sea. The figure in the photo is also full size, but it’s been sunk into the pavement!

It’s called 6 Times and Mr Gormley expects it to last for 1000 years. The police have already received several phone calls about people paddling in the river!
