This year, all 2nd year pupils will be asked to complete up to four tasks in the LRC. One of these activities is to write an article for this blog based on the work they were doing in English.

Each article can be up to 300 words long, and must include links and images. However, because the blog is live on the internet, every word and every image must be either their own, or used with permission of the original creator.

For images, that will mean seeking works with specific licences, or emailing to request permission to reuse online. Pupils will also have to be very careful to avoid plagiarism in their writing.

Each class will also discuss the benefits and dangers of using Wikipedia!

It will be hard work, but by the end of the year, we will hopefully have a whole yeargroup of published authors!
