Tiger Shark Teeth by Stefan Kühn (CC BY-SA 3.0licence)

It’s amazing what you learn in the LRC. Do you know how a male shark shows a female shark that he likes her? He bites her!

Mr Deans’ class were looking for fantastic illustrations and their captions, and discovered that as a result of this behaviour, the skin of a female shark is much, much thicker than male sharkskin.

NB: Please note that the LRC does not recommend biting anyone – unless you’re a shark of course.
