S1 Weather investigation

1st year Social Subjects classes are investigating the impact of the bad weather across Scotland during the winter of 2010-2011.

The snow meant that the school had to be closed, public transport was cancelled, some people couldn’t get home and others couldn’t get to work.

Pupils are discovering how different people were affected by creating questionnaires and conducting interviews, as well as trying to work out why so much snow fell and why it caused so many problems.
