Space Week: ESOL Solar System

2011 is the International Year of the Solar System. As part of Space Week, Mrs McNeish’s 3rd year ESOL pupils are investigating all the parts of the Solar System and writing a short blog entry about each.

All blog entries will appear here and will include:

  • Planets: Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune
  • Dwarf planets: Pluto, Ceres
  • The Moon
  • The Sun
  • Comets
  • Meteors and meteorites
  • Asteroids
  • Satellites
  • Space stations: Mir, International Space Station
