Do you love to write? Would you enjoy the chance to take part in creative writing workshops led by professional authors, poets and playwrights?
On Saturday 12th November, the Scottish Book Trust is holding their Young Writers Conference in Edinburgh for teenagers aged 14-17.
David Almond, author of Skellig, will be the keynote speaker and will also be running a creative writing workshop. There will also have workshops from teen author, Gillian Philip, Scotland’s finest playwright Douglas Maxwell, poet Elspeth Murray and literary agent Lindsey Fraser will run a workshop for those interested in the publishing industry.
There will also have an inspiring performance from Words Per Minute.
This is a superb opportunity to work with some of the very best writers working at the moment and to develop knowledge and skills.
