Weekly challenge: the apple

This week, everybody is trying to do different things and we also gained some new members 🙂 so we spent lunchtime letting everyone catch up and making sure that everybody knows how to log into the blog.

But  you know me, there’s no way I’m letting anyone off, so here’s your challenge (courtesy of Ruth Robertson):

Write a short story using the apple and the plate as your inspiration. Feel free to be as normal or as weird as you like.

    i have 2 questions.
    1. I know you said it was to be a short story, but how many pages would you say that would need to be?
    2. Who got the apple( you, another teacher etc)

    • Mrs Macfadyen says:

I’m thinking no more than two pages maybe? But see how it feels as you write it.

So far as the apple goes, I bought it at lunchtime (and I ate it too 🙂 )

  2. That’s entirely up to you, Rachael. If the plate doesn’t inspire you, just leave it out.

    Poor plate 😦

Anyway, I reckon it’s not an apple, it’s a peraerial.

  3. Rachael M says:

do you need to involve the plate in your story?

  4. Aaron says:

What is it with librarians and impossible challenges?
