Connor, David and Philip’s Library Blog Based On Nevada

We have been studying Holes in class and are now trying to see if Nevada would be a suitable place to suit it.

Nevada is a suitable place to star Holes the movie because it is in a hot desert place and has loads of lizards and wildlife. There are many mountains to choose from for Gods Thumb (The safe haven for Stanley and Zero when stranded in the desert).
Nevada is largely desert so for the hot movie features Nevada is very suitable. A lot of movies have been set there and have been very succesful.

Nevada is a very good place to set this movie and will be a great success.Nevada is officially known as the “Silver State” due to the importance of silver to its history and economy. Much of the northern part of the state is within the Great Basin, a mild desert that experiences hot temperatures in the summer and cold temperatures in the winter.

Occasionally, moisture from the Arizona Monsoon will cause summer thunderstorms. Pacific storms may blanket the area with snow, so you need to wait. Overall Nevada is a great place to set movies especially hot and stranded based movies. Holes would have been great if set here because of the deserty terrain and mountains is very hot, and for the warm cowboy feeling Nevada has it all.
